Helping to start your day with filter coffee

Varties of V. Balaji’s black decoction coffee.

People who do not rise early miss out on beautiful feats of nature such as sunrise, chirping of birds, early morning breeze, etc. . A lazy gaze at the early Sun with a cup of coffee in hand is a wonderful way to begin a day. The cuppa coffee helps one admire the way the day turns brighter as the sky begins to paint itself with incredible colours. A good coffee gives you a head start and there is no better way to start your day. Even if you are leaving for a morning shift or reading for your plus-two examinations or practicing music, you will not mind having a tumbler of filter coffee.

But how many of us are fortunate to enjoy the taste and aroma of filter coffee early in the morning? Not everyone knows how to brew filter coffee. Only a few traditional families still keep up to it and the invigorating aroma that is emitted while it’s being prepared can stimulate the olfactory senses. Still, with women working and men rushing to work at odd times, not everybody has the time to brew filter coffee. Only in a few conventional families still people wake up to hear the sound of boiling water to be poured on to the fresh and nicely grounded coffee powder inside the filter in the wee hours.
