As part of the year-long 150th birth anniversary celebration of Kasturi Ba Gandhi, the All India Harijan Sevak Sangh honoured Lalithasai with the Prestigious SARVODAYA STREE SAKTHI HARMONY & EMPOWERMENT AWARD on August 7, 2018. She was felicitated by the Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, Thiru Banwarilal Purohit
Conferred the title of Sahrudhaya Vimarshaka Sundaram on the occasion of Swami Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 90th Jayathi and Bharatanjali Trust’s Silver Jubilee
A honorary doctoral degree was conferred on Lalithasai in recognition for her services towards children’s education and bettering the lives of young women. She was felicitated by the Global Peace University dignitaries and other dignitaries at Pitti Theyagaraya Hall, T. Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu on February 15 at a grand function which was attended by a large number of philanthropists, musicians and many others who had accomplished a lot in their own field.
The honour consisted of a medallion, certificate and the honorary degree.
